Within the 315-acre wildlife sanctuary of Ijams Nature Center, in the center of Knoxville's Urban Wilderness, is a 25-acre, 80-foot-deep quarry lake and 10 miles of natural trails that meander through the rocky terrain at Meads Quarries, past unusual rock formations and picturesque overlooks.
