New Orleans – music is always in the air and on the streets. Music is such an integral part of New Orleans that it cannot be restricted to bars, festivals, or concert halls. A lot of the city’s most beloved bands got their start on the corners of Royal and Frenchmen streets, or among the artists and tarot-card readers in Jackson Square. Many musicians crave the immediate audience connection that only busking can provide, even after their talent has been found on the streets and put in clubs or on tour.
